With the UK already looking to make all vaccines compulsory for children the risks of vaccines has jumped back into the limelight. Concerned parents are looking at the long term effects of vaccinating their children whilst others claim it is ‘irresponsible behaviour’ not to have children vaccinated.
The Truth About Vaccines a documentary on the risks of vaccines shows that there are in fact still strong links between vaccines and autism, along with a long list of other complications. Many parents are concerned over the safety of vaccinating their children and turn to documentaries for assistance in understanding what these links are. Although the film is a little dated and mercury levels have been reduced or removed, there are still many toxic ingredients in vaccines that cause concern.

Even though in a recent vote, the notion to have vaccines made compulsory for all school aged children in the UK was rejected, there are some small groups within the government that are pushing forward with it to follow in-line with the US, Greece and other countries where they are mandatory.
Doctors in the UK have warned that making vaccines compulsory goes against everything that the NHS stands for. One interesting comment made by Dr Vivienne Nathanson, the BMA’s head of ethics and science was that it was down to parents to balance the risks and benefits of vaccinations.
Although she also said that their view the benefits far outweighed the risks, it’s common knowledge that most parents are not aware of any dangers associated from vaccines. When parents take their children to be vaccinated it is routine to be told that there might be some swelling, a high temperature and irritability with their child – that’s it. The big dangers are usually not given and most parents trust in ‘the system’ lets them feel safe in their hands.
One drug that springs to mind is co-proxamol that was used in the UK for more than 30 years and then withdrawn once it was shown to be deadly – it’s hard to imagine that a country at the forefront of medical advances such as the UK took 30 years to realise that something was killing people!
There is a lot of research happening around the world on the dangers of vaccines, when will we all know The Truth About Vaccines? Also for those who claim that there is not enough evidence to link dangers to vaccines and lots to say it doesn’t, take a look at this post where a list of evidence has been built to let readers know of just some of it that has taken place.
One burning question that should be on everyone’s lips is why in such a highly vaccinated country such as the UK are disease such as asthma, autism, diabetes etc all on the rise? Is it really down to bad diets?
