Earthquake Reported In UK

The UK has reported today that an earthquake has taken place in Cumbria UK.  It almost mirrors what took place in Mexico yesterday when the Swine Flu hit city endured its own earthquake.  With the latest outbreaks of Swine Flu already at the heart of both the UK residents and the Mexican people who have been most affected, the earthquake in the UK may well just go unnoticed.

Although no reports have been made about structural damage it was felt by many and reported as being ‘enough to rock my house’ and have people thinking the ‘roof was coming down’.

In the UK there are hundreds of small earthquakes each year with only a handful of them being felt by the population.  They rarely cause any damage to structures and most go unnoticed.
